Alpaca wool is an exceptional fiber, suitable for sensitive skins, this is because it doesn’t contain lanolin, the main cause of irritation in wool. It also doesn’t capture or retain dust. Alpaca is soft , light and silky on the skin. Also the most sustainable protein fiber because Alpaca are significantly kinder to the environment than sheep or goats, when alpaca graze, they do not damage or destroy root systems, so land is left undamaged and plants continue growing after an alpaca has eaten it. They also require much less water than sheep or goats.
